Players

Consider becoming a referee. It will make you a better player, enhance your on-field leadership skills, and give you loads of confidence. The first step is to take a one day course. Lamo and/or Rugby NorCal will pay your course fee and offer you guidance and coaching during the season to make you a better referee. Also, you can get paid for refereeing by both Lamo and Rugby NorCal

Parents and Coaches

Please consider taking the course. It is only a day and it will help you understand and/or coach better.

Parents who have played - You’d be surprised how easy it is to referee if you’ve played. Please step forward.

​All Certified Referees

Get paid for each game they referee, so this is a great way to earn some pocket money.

Our Lamo Referee Coordinator, is happy to talk to you about your interest, answer your questions and assist you to register. Once the season starts, he will be providing mini-clinics on refereeing skills, Q&A sessions, and personal guidance and coaching to help you improve.
